Pots
I have had 2 weeks doing things I hate (decorating/repairs) but with the weather being bad today I got a much more agreeable set of brushes out.

Porthcurno Beach, Cornwall

The first undersea telegraph cable connecting Britain and India was brought ashore at this small beach in Cornwall 150 years ago this month.  This important milestone was due to be celebrated there with a series of events, all now cancelled due to Covid

Derek
This is a painting  from the Illustrated London News of  June 1870 showing the shore end of the UK-India cable being dragged onto the beach from the Cable Ship Investigator.

Barbra
First meeting

Roz has recently acquired these two kittens from my granddaughter who fostered them and the mother for the Cats Protection Charity.  Now they have to get to know their Labrador, Bronte!

Winter farmland

This is a winter farmland scene. I saw it in leisure painter and thought I'd have a go.

The Spider

Haven’t had much inspiration of late, so decided to finish a painting from last year.
This is “ Spider and Web” painted in acrylic ....... and it is not something I saw in the garden!

River Yare

Seeking inspiration I looked at work by an artist I like - Jem Bowden - and seeing his painting of the glorious River Yare Plain it was out with the 1/2 Imperial Bockingford and the big mop brushes and one and a half hours later my interpretation (copy) was completed.

Jem's work is worth looking at.
